This is quite an invitation !! Dinner in Quebec City, who would have thought ?? Anyway, if you win, I'll look forward to dining with you and some of our fellow bloggers. Be careful who you send your final invitations to, some of us wouldn't want to get indigestion !!!!! |

on Rooney to miss start of season with virus (39)
Of course, what I was referring to is Wayne Rooney contracting some African virus, and that it will take him 12 days to recover. Hopefully he's not seriously ill. And in my opinion a player's halth is worth very much more than lots of new fans and a million pounds. |

No, of course, you don't have to go to Africa to pick up a virus. However, the likelyhood of contracting a virus, or some serious tropical disease like malaria, is infinitely greater in central Africa than in Europe. Nevertheless , you seem to know better.

And I'm willing to bet that ManU will not go back to Nigeria, regardless of what you may think or say !!! |

I agree with you 100%, in the sense that, with some individuals, it's a total waste of time and energy to exchange views. It most definitely is, in this case. |

Actually Milan fielded a team of mostly youngsters and reserves, so there isn't much to read in these pre-championship games.
on Anelka hits four as Chelsea thrash AC Milan (36)
A final score of 5-0 looks most impressive, but where was Anelka the whole of last season and I'm wondering where he's going to be when the real business begins. |
