Of course, what I was referring to is Wayne Rooney contracting some African virus, and that it will take him 12 days to recover. Hopefully he's not seriously ill.

No, of course, you don't have to go to Africa to pick up a virus. However, the likelyhood of contracting a virus, or some serious tropical disease like malaria, is infinitely greater in central Africa than in Europe. Nevertheless , you seem to know better.

And I'm willing to bet that ManU will not go back to Nigeria, regardless of what you may think or say !!!

Actually Milan fielded a team of mostly youngsters and reserves, so there isn't much to read in these pre-championship games.

A final score of 5-0 looks most impressive, but where was Anelka the whole of last season and I'm wondering where he's going to be when the real business begins.
