IOC positive about stadium future

The International Olympic Committee are confident a solution will be found for the future use of the Olympic Stadium.
The London Legacy Development Corporation (LLDC) are yet to finalise what will happen to the 80,000-seat stadium after the Olympics.
The original London 2012 bid included the promise of an athletics legacy in a stadium which last night played host to one of the greatest nights of British sport.
West Ham are among four bidders interested in becoming tenants but the process has been hit by a series of delays and legal wrangles.
IOC executive director Gilbert Felli is confident the LLDC will make the right decision and he believes the lasting impact of the 2012 Olympics stretches beyond just the centre-piece stadium.
"It is not easy. I believe for track and field, they have been doing a proper job trying to find the owners," Felli said.
"I think they will do it and I believe they will find a solution.
"I am confident there will be a legacy.
"East London will be the legacy, not just the stadium but the full legacy of east London.
"Even if you struggle a little bit for a few months with the stadium, the legacy is there.
"The (athletics) World Championships are here in 2015 and all of that is part of the legacy. They should be confident about the legacy of this."
The LLDC said in May they have a 'hard and fast' deadline to have a contract in place for the stadium by October.
