Newcastle make second signing

NEWCASTLE (SW) – Newcastle manager Kevin Keegan announced on Friday that the club had made its second signing in the off season.

Twenty one year old midfielder Danny Guthrie, who was on loan at Bolton Wanderers last season, has signed a four year old contract with the Magpies.

The former Liverpool youngster joins twenty five year old midfielder Jonas Gutierrez who was signed last week from Spanish side Real Mallorca.
