The saga and alleged standoff between Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson and winger Cristiano Ronaldo may seem like ‘a never – ending story’.

In response to Sir Alex’s statement that his winger would not be going anywhere this season, Ronaldo said very plainly that he was used to facing the pressure.

The twenty three year Portuguese international hero, Ronaldo, is currently in his native Portugal where he is recovering form ankle surgery.

So, what was Cristiano Ronaldo's reply to Sir Alex Ferguson? What does "he was used to facing pressure" mean?"

Ronaldo needs to grow up quickly. His actions or non actions do not compliment his superb skills.

Giorgio August 7th, 2008 06:51

Hey Fred,
This is quite an invitation !! Dinner in Quebec City, who would have thought ??
Anyway, if you win, I'll look forward to dining with you and some of our fellow bloggers.

Be careful who you send your final invitations to, some of us wouldn't want to get indigestion !!!!!

phughes699 August 7th, 2008 07:05

Cristiano's reponse will be lots of goals next season.

phughes699 August 7th, 2008 07:08

Fred, thank you for the invitation. Let's hope you win the lottery. I wonderful dinner is sometimes better than a wonderful woman.

phughes699 August 7th, 2008 08:42

The problem is, winning the lottery would be like Liverpool winning the Premiership, so most probably highly unlikely.

newtonheath1878 August 7th, 2008 10:31

Hey Fred, it would be great to put some faces to names. Maybe one day we'll be able to do that lottery win or not!

DaJohnner August 8th, 2008 04:13

Hey Tonto.....I accept the invite. And for PHughes and the other UNited contingent....hear this carefully!!!! NO TROPHIES THIS YEAR, THEY WILL ALL GO TO THE BOYS OF ANFIELD.

phughes699 August 9th, 2008 15:36

The nearest Liverpool will get to the Premiership trophy is when they come to Old Trafford to play us.
