Hibernian FC's pursuit of a UEFA Cup place has been checked after Merouane Zemmama was ruled out for the rest of the season with a broken foot.
The 24-year-old Moroccan playmaker, who has scored six goals this campaign, picked up the injury in training and Hibernian manager Mixu Paatelainen admitted his loss is a "big blow". The Edinburgh outfit are fifth with three games to go, but only a point adrift of third and a guaranteed UEFA Cup spot for next term.
