TURIN, Oct 17 (SW) – By winning their fifth straight Serie B match Juventus have further reduced their deficit.

Starting the season at – 17 the club is now at – 1 after six matches and have a game in hand. Despite being second from bottom in twenty first place, they are only eleven points behind current leaders Genoa.

Former Inter Milan midfielder Cristiano Zanetti scored the only goal of the game against Treviso, sweeping home Mauro Camoranesi's right-wing cross in the 31st minute.

The club is still waiting to hear the outcome of their appeal and if successful it could see their penalty points reduced at the end of October.
